Until I can buy that idyllic little piece of land in the countryside, I will do what I can to make my little urban house as cottage-y as possible. Over the years I've been here, I've added plants to the front to make my house more "hidden in a garden" and less 'suburb.' The backyard will hopefully have the beginning of a potting shed along with the veggie garden. As for inside, I try to make sure that the house feels welcoming and cozy but not cramped.
